Hello Ladies! I just wanted to let you know that I haven't forgotten you. I really want us to finish up this book and then decide what we want to do next. Maybe we could take a break from reading other books for a while and just make a commitment to read the Bible and challenge each other to do some "good deeds" in the name of Jesus throughout the week and then share out experiences. I certainly want us to get in the habit of checking the blog weekly again.
Be diligent in your walk with Jesus.

That sounds wonderful, Libby :) I do need a lot of encouragement in reading my Bible diligently every day. I think I fail at that. I love the good deeds idea too :) The book so far has been very encouraging as well, I have realized that I worry much less about things these days, remembering that God has my back and is in control.

I would like to finish the book together too. Maybe we can do one page on what we got out of the book as a whole. I would also really like to see some other ladies mission statements... I think that it is a great way to have a focus on growing in our walk with Jesus. But I would like to know what the rest of you ladies would like to do. Is there any suggestions that anyone has for Libby to be able to keep us all more engaged?
ReplyDeleteI love the idea about making a commitment to reading the Bible and challenging each other to be on the mission by way of our actions in our communities. My brother-in-law sends out an email daily to a group of men stating what passage of the Bible he read that day and how the Lord spoke to him through that passage of scripture. I have been wanting a group of ladies to keep me accountable like this too. I'm not suggesting that we do something daily but maybe something like a weekly post stating what passage of scripture we read that week and how God spoke to our hearts. It's just an idea.
